Woodhouselee Road Rehabilitation - Pejar Creek

Reliance Engineering Services were engaged by Upper Lachlan Shire Council to provide engineering support and project superintendency services for the drainage restoration works at Pejar Creek situated on Woodhouselee Road.

The project located near Pejar in New South Wales was funded under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement (DRFA) following significant damage sustained in January 2022.

Due to the proximity of the road carriageway to Pejar Creek, the existing pavement formation sustained significant damage as a result elevated floodwater levels and insufficient scour protection on the roadside batters.

To provide greater protection during flooding, the scope of works included:

  • Reconstructing the roadside shoulders and batters to restore formation

  • Installation of road armour spalls

  • Bitumen sealing

The project was successful delivered by Divall’s Earthmoving and Bulk Haulage in May 2024.
