Oallen Ford Road Batter Repairs

Reliance Engineering Services were engaged by Goulburn Mulwaree Council to provide engineering support and project superintendency services for the batter restoration works along Oallen Ford Road.

The project located near Bungonia in New South Wales was funded under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement (DRFA) following damaged sustained by several heavy rainfall events.

To prevent further erosion of the batter, the scope of works included:

• Excavating and reshaping the batter to reinstate slope stability and support the revegetation of the batter face.

• Constructing a catch drain to prevent surface flow down the batter.

• Constructing rock flume structures to control flow from the catch drain to the grated inlet pits

• Hydromulching

The project was successful delivered by JCF Earthmoving on behalf of Goulburn Mulwaree Council in August 2021.
