Charleys Forest Road - Feagans Creek Rehabilitation

Reliance Engineering Services were engaged by Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council to provide engineering and project superintendency services for the restoration works at Feagans Creek on Charleys Forest Road.

The project located near Mongarlowe in New South Wales and was funded under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement (DRFA) following damaged sustained to the existing culvert structure and pavement in August 2020. The site sustained substantial damaged to the pavement surface caused by elevated creek flows. Additionally, significant erosion was sustained in the roadside batters, causing instability to the adjacent traffic lanes.

Reliance Engineering Services provided the following scope of services to Council:

• Preparation of tender documentation and evaluation

• Contract Administration

• Project Superintendency

• Quality Control

• Monitoring and enforcing Contractor compliance

 The project was successful delivered by Divalls Earthmoving and commissioned for opening in August 2021.
