Boorowa Road Drainage Repairs

Reliance Engineering Services were engaged by Upper Lachlan Shire Council to provide project superintendency services for the drainage restoration works on Boorowa Road.

The restoration works spanned over 38 kilometres and consisted of the following works: 

• Restoring formation of roadside shoulders

• Re grading the table drains to facilitate the installation of rock rip rap

• Installation of rock rip rap to reduce flow velocity

• Installation of bio degradable jute matting

• Restoration of roadside batters to support revegetation

• Hydromulching

• Bitumen sealing

Reliance Engineering Services provided the following scope of services to Council:

• Preparation of tender documentation and evaluation

• Contract Administration

• Project Superintendency

• Quality Control

• Monitoring and enforcing Contractor compliance

The project was successful delivered by Coopers Earthmoving and Haulage Pty Ltd in October 2024.
